Church Project

PROJECT 2017 -2018

Berkley Street church adopts a specific Mission project  for eighteen months alternating between home and abroad, and undertakes to pray and raise funds for it. Our current church project is supporting the ST JOHNS HOSPICE at Moggerhanger.

UGANDA (2015-2016) Raised money for an orphanage and a local Christian worker. Two of our members visited them.

REGENERATE (2013-2014)

From 2013 we supported 'Regenerate', a project to help build the church up in practical ways.  Throughout the period, it was supported in prayer,
and undertook a series of fund raising activities. The aims were:

•   To seek to ‘regenerate’ the church
•   To reach out to children and young people
•   To seek to serve generations of all ages
•   To proclaim the ‘Good News’ to those who might not hear it.

is a project started by Daphne Brown in June 1999 to help villagers in desperate need in two African countries where there is no water supply.  Over two years this church raised £12,000 which enabled 3 bore holes to be drilled. As a result, three Zimbabwean villages now have access to a clean water supply.
